Automatic solar tracker is a system which helps to boost the energy production of solar panel. The whole system even does not need any external power source, This document describes a dual axis solar tracker that uses sensors and a microcontroller to rotate solar panels to maximize electricity generation.
The objective of solar power tracking systems is to maximize the capture of solar radiation by continuously adjusting the orientation and tilt of the solar panels. By tracking the sun’s movement across the sky, these systems can ensure that the solar panels receive the highest possible level of sunlight throughout the day.
Experimental results demonstrate a significant increase in PV system efficiency, up to 35.16 % compared to a fixed-axis panel, affirming the cost-effectiveness of this educational and research tool.
