It is becoming increasingly popular due to its eco-friendly nature, as it does not contribute to the depletion of fossil fuels, which can endanger the earth and the millions of people in it. Installing solar street lights is a cost-effective solution to the energy problem, as the installation cost is less than that of Traditional Street lights.
Solar energy technology provides an economical and sustainable solution where street lights are required in the absence of practical local mains power supply. This paper consists four chapters. In first chapter, it discuss about the objective, scope of this project and statement of problem.
