First connect the B-cable of the protection board to the total negative pole of the battery pack. The cable starts from the thin black one connecting B-, the second red cable connects the positive pole of the first string of batteries, and the next string is connected in turn.
Notice the two outside wires of the charging connector connect to the same location as the primary output connector. Therefore, it is OK to use the two outside wires of the charging connector as the primary power output. And the same two wires can be used as the charger input too. For this example, all of the connectors will be removed.
As you can see, there are four wires coming from the battery pack:red, yellow, blue. black. Should I connect the red blue yellow cables to cell1 cell2 cell3 pad and black wire to cell- pad? Thanks! Never do anything with a lipo without measuring the voltages on the connector to be sure.

A 3 cell lipo battery will have a voltage range of around 9-12.6vdc. and is nominally rated as a 11.1 vdc battery. Either can be used to power an arduino board via it''s external DC power supply connector or Vin pin, but the 2 cell battery will be more efficient because of the use of a linear voltage regulator on the arduino board.
Are the coloured wires the 1''s, 2''s and 3''d positive terminals, as requested by the connection instruction? Is the black wire the 3''s cell negative terminal? Use a voltmeter to answer that question.
