In the high wind regime, however, the power production saturates, since these turbines have a reduced nominal power P. This justifies the ansatz Weak-light performance of solar cells depends on the material used .
In this paper the low light performance of solar cells and modules is investigated with a simple approach. Only three parameters (1) the series resistance, (2) the shunt resistance and (3) the ideality factor are used similar as it was already shown by Grunow et al. in 2004.
Below 200 Lux, the VOC of both cells have significant increase with the increase of light intensity, and the VOC of A cell is slightly higher than that of B cell. The VOC of two cells is basically the same once the light intensity over 500 Lux.
Our theoretical and experimental results reveal the factors affecting the weak light performance of PSCs, and offer constructive guidelines as following for the future design and fabrication. Perovskite solar cells with higher shunt resistance exhibit better weak light performances.
With the falling of light intensity, the FF of B cell shows a more significant downward trend than that of A cell. As shown in Fig. 3 (d), the output powers of two PSCs are 98.8 μW/cm 2 and 97.8 μW/cm 2 at 1000 Lux, and reduced to 1.4 μW/cm 2 and 0.9 μW/cm 2 at 20 Lux which maintained 1.42% and 0.92% output powers.
In this way cells with poor weak light performance may be identified in a simple and fast way. Simulated and measured efficiency data for 2BB and 3BB modules, normalized to 100% at 1000 W/m 2 : the difference in series resistance is affecting the weak light efficiency (from ).

Performances of perovskite solar cells at low-intensity light ...
Due to their excellent photo-to-electric power conversion efficiency (PCE) (up to 25.2%) under AM 1.5G (≈100,000 Lux), the perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have received widespread attention in recent years, but the research on their weak light (0–1000 Lux) performances is still rare. So, the effect factors of their weak light performances were explored …

Weak light effect in multicrystalline silicon solar cells
Minority carrier trapping centers frequently exist in solar grade multicrystalline silicon, such trapping centers cause a drastic increase in photoconductance at carrier injection levels equal to and below the trap density, this phenomenon leads to higher open circuit voltage for multicrystalline silicon solar cells at illumination levels below about 0.2 suns compared to …
