In the framework of European project ECoVEM, and in a context of strong demand as well as relocation of photovoltaic (PV) production in Europe, the National Institute for Solar Energy (INES) with its Training and Expertise Plateform has developed new specialized training courses to support the development of the PV industry in France and in Europe.
The Academy will be run by the InnoEnergy Skills Institute, which will develop tailored training services to reskill and upskill 65,000 workers across the entire European solar photovoltaic (PV) value chain within its first two years.
The Solar Academy aims to train 100,000 workers in the solar photovoltaic value chain over the next three years to address the current labor and skills gap in the sector. The Solar Academy will design learning content, together with the industry and relevant parties in the solar PV value chain.
